Dr. Wesley Baff, a 2006 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, joined Plumtrees Animal Hospital as a full-time veterinarian in 2007. Born and raised in the Greater Danbury area, he is a graduate of Newtown High School and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. Dr. Wesley Baff completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City in 2007. He is a member of the CVMA and the AVMA. His professional interests include small animal internal medicine and oncology, as well as general wellness and preventative medicine
Dr. Loren Goldstein graduated cum laude with a Bachelor?s degree in Science from Siena College. She went on to receive her Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University, where she was presented with the Ethicon Surgery Award. Dr. Goldstein then completed her clinical year at the University of Florida (Go Gators!) where she was awarded Most Valuable Student.
After graduation, she worked for two years as a small animal general practitioner. Dr. Goldstein, committed to providing her patients with the highest quality of care, felt it necessary to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island, where she was awarded intern of the year. Through this experience, she has developed a passion for emergency medicine and critical care. Dr. Goldstein spent several months after her internship working as an emergency doctor.
Dr. Goldstein is excited to establish long-term relationships with clients and patients. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. Dr. Goldstein lives in Fairfield County, CT with her husband, son, and their two dogs Max, and Gino. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new restaurants, hiking with her dogs and going to the gym.
Dr. Shalmalee Kotwal hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She then completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at VREC in Norwalk, CT. She is available for sick and well patient appointments during the day, weekends, and evenings.
